Bike/ Balanceability
This week at St. Peter's, we have been lucky enough to participate in the Plymouth SSP's 'cycle proficiency test for the 21st century' - Bikeability and Balanceability.
Starting on Monday, all Infant classes began their Balanceability programme: learning and developing the fundamental skills required to progress onto cycling independently. In the juniors, Years 5 and 6 began their Bikeability programme: learning the rules of the road (relating to the Highway Code) and how this can be applied to safe cycling.
It has been a fabulous week for all parties involved, and a special mention must go to instructors that worked tirelessly throughout a jam-packed week! Thank you.
And if you think your cycling journey has finished until next year, think again! DON'T FORGET the 'Big Pedal' that begins in March. Speak to Mr. Morse or Mrs. Hocking for more information! Prizes will be available, including a free breakfast. Yum!
